Since 2007, Batipart decided to diversify its economic interests and expand activities internationally. The development of ONOMO is today one of the international investment axes of the Batipart group.

In 2009, Batipart took part in the creation of ONOMO, a new hotel group with the ambition of making ONOMO Hotels the leading pan-African hospitality platform in the 3* segment.

Batipart currently holds 68.29% of ONOMO following a fundraise in November 2017 attracting two new investors namely CDC Group PLC and Credit Mutuel Capital.

ONOMO Hotels is an African 3* hotel platform targeting clients in the business segment. ONOMO Hotels offer a unique guest experience at an affordable rate in Africa, combining contemporary comfort with the African art of living, while ensuring tailored and state-of-the-art security and connectivity. ONOMO establishes itself in the business districts of the capitals and major gateway cities on the African continent.

ONOMO are investors, developers and managers of their international standard hotels. Given the complexity to adapt to different countries an owner-manager model is prioritised. Their approach is based on 5 fundamental pillars: economy, ecology, cultural integration, technology and security.

In 2020, with more than 700 employees, ONOMO manages 21 hotels representing a total of 2800 keys throughout the African continent, notably in Morocco (Rabat, Casablanca, Tanger), in West Africa (Douala, Conakry, Lomé, Abidjan, Dakar, Bamako and Libreville), South Africa (Cape Town, Durban, Sandton) and East Africa (Kigali, Maputo, Dar es Salaam). In 2019, ONOMO generated 33.1M EUR in revenue. ONOMO controls a number of real estate holdings representing a sizeable development pipeline, amounting to approximately 13 hotels and 1500 keys secured to complete its hotel portfolio. 2 hotels (235 keys) are in construction in Abidjan and Kampala.

ONOMO holds 100% of Fond Light, a sourcing and procurement platform that services all the hotels within the group. Fond Light centralise and handle the group’s entire supply chain.
