Born in France in 1980, Nicolas Ruggieri graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Strasbourg and EM Lyon. He began his career in 2003 with General Electric in its real estate division based in Milan.

He joined Batipart Group in 2005 at Covivio in Paris, where he was in charge of asset management and then various finance functions from 2005 to 2010. From 2011, he developed the listed property company Eurosic, which grew from €1bn to almost €8bn in assets over the period.

Since the company was acquired by Gecina in 2017, he has been responsible for Batipart’s property development in Europe and North America.

Nicolas Ruggieri is the Executive Managing Director of the family-owned group and head of Batipart’s real estate division.
