Batipart remains active in a sluggish real estate market

Over the past year, the family-owned group has deployed nearly €1 billion in acquisitions — including the Pullman Tour Eiffel hotel — and raised €1.3 billion in mortgage financing, taking an opportunistic approach.

Batipart Europe is rolling out its strategy at full speed. The European real estate arm of the Ruggieri family — which is also present in Africa and North America through two other entities — has completed several landmark transactions in recent months, while refinancing the majority of the debt on its mortgaged assets. Over nearly 30 years, the discreet group has built a portfolio of almost €5 billion, not hesitating to take a contrarian approach across three business lines: the development and transformation of offices in Paris and the greater Paris region, hospitality (both real estate and operations) in Europe, and the long-term ownership of income-producing assets.
