17 April 2024 – Batipart Europe and IBA Capital Partners, with the support of a consortium of investors including Covéa, announce the acquisition of the Prado office complex, located at 5 Calle Ramirez de Prado in Madrid. This transaction, the largest in Spain in recent years, also includes other commercial and logistics assets, valuing the operation at approximately €300 million.
The asset covers nearly 60,000 square metres and is strategically located in the Atocha-Méndez Álvaro district, one of Madrid’s fastest-growing office markets, considered to be an extension of the central business district. The building is home to several prominent tenants, including Amazon’s Spanish headquarters, which occupies 18,000 square metres, as well as offices of the Madrid Regional Government and City Council.
