Since 2007, Batipart decided to diversify their economic interests and expand their activities internationally. The development of ONOMO is today, the main focus of Batipart international’s internal investments.
In 2009, Batipart took part in the creation of ONOMO, a new hotel group that plan to develop 20 hotels within the African continent.
Batipart now holds 100% of ONOMO.
ONOMO are investors, developers and owners of international standard 3-star business hotels. Given the struggle to adapt to the various countries a “business and premises” holding pattern is prioritised. Their approach is based on 5 fundamental pillars: Economy, ecology, cultural blending, technology and security.
Today, ONOMO manages 6 hotels located in Dakar (Senegal), Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Libreville (Gabon), Bamako (Mali), Lomé (Togo) and Cape Town in South Africa, representing a total of 750 rooms. ONOMO controls a number of real estate holdings that encourage important development perspectives, amounting to a total of almost 45 000 m2 secured in Douala, Port Gentil, Brazzaville, Freetown, Kampala and Kribi.
4 Hotels (456 keys) are currently under construction in Conakry, Kigali, Lomé and Durban.
Additional projects are due to be launched during the 1st quarter of 2017.
