Founded in 1995 by Mister Serge G. Duguay, Cogir Immobilier is a Quebecois company based in Montréal mostly active in real estate management (retail and multi-residential). In 2004, Mathieu Duguay took over the family company and expanded their activity towards the sector of private elderly residences; developing and constructing programmes as well as participating in client programmes.
Currently counting over 3500 employees, the company is ranked among the 100 largest company in Quebec.
Cogir Immobilier is involved in the property management, asset management, investment, development and construction sectors. Their assets under management currently represent around $4.2 Billion Cad over a third of which are directly co-invested between Cogir Immobilier and their clients.
The company ensures the management of over 700 000 m² of retail space, industrial property and office builds, in addition to this, around 19 750 000 residential units composed of both multi-tenant properties and elderly residences.

Cogir Immobilier aim to expand their geographic presence across the whole of Canada and North East America over the next two years.
To support this ambitious development, Batipart Immo International in partnership with Crédit Mutuel group invested in Cogir Immobilier on September 1st 2015. Their equity stake represents 33.33 % of Cogir Immobilier’s capital.
